Lving Room Library

This library was to be customized to fit a unique space around a piece of art and a sofa. There was a requirement for various sizes of shelf to house all types of books as well as ceramics and some potted plants. Intentionally pieced together from separate cubicles the finished library comes together like a puzzle. Made from various sources of reclaimed lumber the library took on a unique look with different types of texture, tone, and tons of character. With a few added splashes of red, blue, yellow and green and finished with a satin coat of clear, the library tips it’s hat to the color palette of those old books you used to see on your Grandmas shelf.
